zebra blinds which is a very popular model and type of blinds currently trending in India. and in my opinion, has the lowest risk of having any repairs or maintenance while using compared to other blinds. yet it is not invisible. so here is 5 tips to take care of your zebra blinds.

1.

Don’t do things that break the tread. don’t jam it the thread is usually made with plastic beads arranged on a nylon thread. try to operate the thread standing right below it. as there is an aluminum pelmet box covering half of its thread mechanism, there is a chance to have continuous touching with the pelmet and the possibility to wear and tear and finally breaking it. so when you roll up or roll down use a medium speed even though the tread is easily replaceable.

takes good care of its bottom part, the bottom part of blinds is made of aluminum and plastic parts so when you roll it up completely to its top, there is a chance that the plastic part may go up and hit its pelmet and break. so when you roll up, try to give some space between the pelmet and bottom part rather than completely rolling up the blinds.

3.

try to avoid the gap between the two fabrics you might not have even noticed it but actually, the two fabrics have to be rolled up on the same side of the pipe. in that way, you will have more privacy and less chance for the fabric to get damaged. if there is a gap between the fabric try to pull down the tread until the blind is completely rolled down and keep pulling down on the same thread, so the blinds start to roll up without the gap

4.

Usually at the night there is a chance of flies resting on blinds, especially on lighter shade blinds that are placed near a light source so when you roll up the blinds try to wiggle off these flies if there are. or there is a chance to roll them up with the blinds. so their stains of blood may be seen on the binds. you can clean the blinds it is very cleanable you can clean them with a dry brush or you can use a soft vacuum cleaner you can use a shampoo or a wet cloth also depending on the fabric if there are more blood stains try using glass cleaning solutions.

5.
